We guide you through the entire process, from system design and approvals to installation and activation.
Going solar in Aruba involves more than placing panels on a roof.
Your system needs to be designed correctly, documents must be prepared, approvals are needed from Elmar and DTI, and the installation has to be checked before everything goes fully live.
EcoSun keeps the process clear from start to finish, so you always know what is happening, what we need from you, and what comes next.
We review your energy use, roof situation and goals to understand what system fits your home best.
What you do
Share your energy usage and basic home information.
What happens next
You receive a clear proposal with system size, costs and expected savings.
We explain the system design, financing options, expected monthly impact and project timeline.
What you do
Review and approve the proposal.
What Ecosun does
We prepare your project, payment steps and required documents.
Before installation, a preliminary approval from Elmar is required. We prepare and submit this request for you.
What we need from you:
A valid ID
A situational drawing (DLV)
A signed Elmar waiver
What happens
We submit your application to Elmar and monitor the process.
Important to know
This step can take several weeks and is outside EcoSun’s direct control. We keep you informed and follow up where possible.
Once the preparation is complete, we plan the installation date and align the technical team, materials and roof access.
What you do
Make sure we can access the property.
What EcoSun does
We install the panels, inverter and related equipment.
After installation, your system must be inspected and approved by DTI and Elmar before it can go fully live.
What happens
We coordinate the inspection process and make sure everything is technically ready.
Important to know
Inspection planning can take time and is partly outside our control. Your system may already be ready while you are waiting for final approval.
Why this goes faster with EcoSun
We have an in-house DTI-certified installer. This means your system is installed according to the latest requirements from the start, reducing delays, rework and back-and-forth during inspection.
Once approved and activated, your system starts producing energy and monitoring becomes available.
What you get
Production insights, support contact and a completed project handover.
